Board Game Arena

I struggle every time I use the new Start Game UI. It doesn't seem intuitive to me, and my games end up with randos when I restrict to my group, they always default to real-time (which I never play), I've been added to other people's games when I wanted to start my own with friends, it's complicated to get a table link. I would just like a simple way to start a game and share a link to the table with my friends (who are in a restricted group). It's much easier using the old UI but I seem to only be able to start games there that I've already played. Can anyone help?

If you go to a game's page and click add to favorites (top right corner), it will be added to your games in the old lobby.
