Do any of these games allow playing against a bot now?

There is a list of games you can play in solo mode: https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist?players=1 As far as I know, there you play just for your high score (or in some games against a rather simple kind of automa) or the win / loose result, depending on the game. If you are looking to play against articifial intelligence, I don't know of any games like that here.

Why would anyone bother to work on something like that when you can always play with real players?

I don’t think there are such bots implemented on BGA.

But in many games there is a solo mode, and sometimes it is implemented on BGA.

Barrage has the option to play against automas. Not sure if there are other games.

I believe Can't Stop has a semi-intelligent bot that one can play against.

As far as I experienced, this bot rolls only once and then passes the turn. On each and every turn! This can hardly be called a bot, let alone of any intelligence.

Sometimes I enjoy playing alone with nobody depending on me. I do this with some of my Steam games. I'm not looing to achieve a certain score, I do however like to play when I can walk away and return later to some games.

Thanks for your help.

Thank you. Now I understand why it makes perfect sense for you to play solo games :-)

Do you know about playing turn-based? In this mode you can play one turn and continue later, based on the time scheme you chose. But if you want to play several turns on the same game in a row, this is probably not the best mode for you to play with others.

Nevertheless it could be helpful to switch your solo games into turn-based, because without that, your games will be automatically closed if you pause more than about 4 hours.

I have since found out that this bot has been removed. Sorry for the misinformation.
