Now that the program I am creating is almost working, I wanted to have a non-developer friend play with the pre-alpha version.

Are there any restrictions on inviting friends to play with the pre-alpha version?

Just give him ne you test accounts and change password on it, do not ask him to create studio account - that is reserved for actual developers

I see that I can just play in a way that I let the player use my test account.

I will have them test it that way.
