Premium renewal

I thought that Premium subscription would be renwed automatically. Apparently it is not.
Is it because I have an old plan?
The statement: "please check with your bank" is impossible for me to do as I have multiple accounts and I can't remember how I paid for the subscription.

Maybe your credit card has expired? I had this problem last time. Now I switched to Paypal to avoid this next time.

And is it working for you?
As I just found this on FAQ:
How is a Premium membership billed?
Premium membership is a subscription: it is billed periodically.
The monthly membership is billed each month: if you subscribe on March 13th, you will be billed on April 13th, May 13th, and so on.
The yearly membership is billed once a year. Since you are committed for one year, there is a significant discount on this membership.
If you prefer to manually pay for each membership period, we advise you use the Paypal payment option as we do not automatically renew memberships paid via Paypal.

I'd advice setting it to manually pay each year anyway. You never know what will happen and you don't want to be paying for something that you've stopped using in a year's time. It's easy just to pay when you want to start using premium again if that does happen.

My renewal just happened yesterday. Of course BGA didn't actually email me saying that they were doing a renewal, so I spent an hour trying to figure out about a random Stripe charge on my credit card....

So I have a problem similar to the OP--I'm apparently due for a renewal, but my payment didn't work (I presume I used a card that has since expired.) I see that one option I have is to cancel my subscription and then re-subscribe...at a higher rate. Is there any way I can just update my payment information?

I had the same problem after my credit card expired. I contacted customer service and they offered me an arrangement.
