Board Game Arena

The other day I found myself in a teamplay (6 players, 3 teams) in turn based but we couldn't see the turned cards from the other players. I reread the rules but I couldn't find if this was the way to play.

Am I wrong? I have played turn based without teams a lot and then you can see the played cards visible.
