Board Game Arena

I used the flare ability (while it was night) twice on Intellect devourer. I didnt notice at first but it did absolutely nothing. The logs indicate that the monster's attack was permanently decreased but then he still attacked for the exact same amount. Am I missing something or is it just bugged.

I can't find the text for the Intellect Devourer right now, would you mind pasting it in here?
I imagine it might be the creature where the damage dealt is dependent on the peril level, in that case changing the monsters attack level will not have any effect at all...

I think Intellect Devourer is the one who's attack increases based on unused XP when it enters. In which case I would expect a perm decrease to be effective.
