ELO rating

How can the ELO-reward of each victory differ so dramatically? My victories give me 3 or 4 points, but some users receive more than 30 points for victories.
Your elo depend of two things:
- the difference of elo with the other player. Per example on that game: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=369280672 , if you put your mouse on your elo, you can see "Probability of a win: 84%". That mean if you win 84% of your games against him you will lose and gain no elo. That's because you got way more elo than him, so you are expected to win a lot more.
- the number of games you played, in your first few games, your gain and loss of elo will be tripled then double. It's called the 'k-factor' and it's visible too if you put your mouse on your elo. For the game shared both your k-factor is 20, which is the minimal one.
