I just started playing Ark Nova a few days ago and when I started there was a little "degrees of separation" score widget in the player area which I found very handy, then one day it disappeared. Can anyone comment?

Dev update from a few days ago
« As per publisher request, the old score was completely removed from the BGA adaptation. It still works the same : the game end is triggered whenever someone's meeples cross each other, or equivalently when someone reach a score of 100. Please refrain yourself of any negative comment here and go on BGG if you really want to rant about this. »

BGG is probably not the best place to rant about BGA on.

It is. As clearly explained in the post above, we (Ark Nova developpers) are bound to what publisher is telling us to do.
So if you want to rant, please rant to the publisher, and BGG is probably way better than here on BGA where the publisher will probably never read your rant.
