I wish we have such function so it's easier to analyze one's strength by highlighting his best games. Currently games are sorted by XP.

Some games have their top 20 at >600elo, others <400elo (i think).

If you are top 20 on that game that should be pretty high. (even if for myself, Armadorra was really high after i played 10 games of it, but that's not a game i want to see in the top of my profile)

But having differents ways to sort could be nice.

Games differ in popularity and amout of luck. Elo is the only reliabel measure when comparing skills between different games. For example. Elo500 in Terra Mystica get you top200 and Elo400 get you top 1 in Love Letter. The Elo500 refelects much more than the Elo400 even though that's the top 1.

I don't believe it's that simple. That top 1 is much more important that this top 20 imo, because it look way harder to reach.

And coops games would totally ruin that with games like Bandido which give +1 per win, and games like Regicide which give +24 per win.

I think a better factor which doesn't exist atm is the 'time played'. If you played a lot one game, it's usually because you like it, so would like to have it in top. On the other hand, if you played a lot less one game but reached top 1, it doesn't make much sense to have it fairly down...

But I will agreee that the actual order look pretty bad, and most propositions would improve it.

It's somehow true that top 1 in Love letter is harder to reach, but the reason is you need not only skill, but a lot of luck to get there. We are only talking about Love Letter. But still, even though you reach top 1 in Love Letter with Elo400, it's very easily challendged by others because you're not that stronger than others. Iy's likely after 5 random games you've dropped below top 10 because of the strong randomness in the game.

I didn’t realize that games were arranged this way in profiles until someone mentioned it recently. Also if you click the xp bar next to your name it shows all of your achievements. Nice feature. Is bga implying that the xp system is more valuable than elo by arranging it this way? In other aspects it appears that elo is the measure for player strength.

You also get xp points for tournaments so games that have more frequent tournaments are easier to get xp
