Board Game Arena

I'm really liking this game but I always struggle early game (and the rest of the game ). I know it's to get a good income generator but I don't really know how to put this into practice. Any advice?

Just like Race for the Galaxy or Puerto Rico, getting an early tradable good and then trading it is key to the early game. This can come from your starting world, or a small windfall/production world that you find on an early explore. Trading goods early is key to generating early game income, especially in games without Retreat into Isolation. Often players ignore this and try to rely solely on income from goals, produce bonus, and development discounts. Even trying to rely on Retreat into Isolation is often a fools errand, as both players fight over who gets to pick it. Plus Retreat into Isolation is boring and shouldn't be used once you get the hang of the game.
