Surprised that the army size starts at 1... I guess a kingdom, must start with an army... confusing. Is this in the official Catan rules somewhere? (I probably am outdated)

I had to hop on desktop to see what that symbol meant lol.

I believe you are mistaken, or else I am confused about your meaning.

Your "army size" is the number of knights you've played so far in the game. It starts at 0.

Yeah ur right, a different game it’s all 0.

Idk I think there might be a bug somewhere as well. I don’t see a fellow player has played a knight but the count is 1 for them.

Maybe the game log doesn’t go back all the way? I’ll pay more attention next game.

You might have been looking at road length, which does start at 1.

With some probably suboptimal placement of your starting settlements and roads, you may even start with a road length of 2.
