Since it's your only move anyway and it would make turn based games move more quickly. Imagine my frown face when I login to just see I'm incapacitated and the only move I can do is hit the heal button.

It may not be your only move .. many times, I level up my 3/4 card before healing, to get a bit more health out of it .

You can still do it and add that condition
if (incapcited) + (not enough xp to level 34) + (not death strider)
then (automatic heal) + (add a log message)

oh this would be really nice, would be helpful for new players if there was a pop-up or highlighted somehow that it is happening automatically, maybe after 5 seconds or something, so it's not too jarring?

I agree with the last post. I hate it when the game does something "for" you and doesn't tell you.
