How to zoom in on cards mobile / iOS?

Hi is there a trick to zoom into cards on tap? Sometimes I can get it to work, sometimes it doesn’t.

Agree! I just returned to 7 wonders duel and am already seeing this in the first game. I feel like this nearly makes the game unplayable. Some cards you need to see the coin cost in order to make informed decisions, but when you pinch to zoom in it resizes the screen to completely unreadable. In a lot of cases you zoom in and it actually shrinks the card area which makes no sense at all.

Over in the bug reporting section, there are over 50 people who have thumbs up'd the issue, so I have my doubts whether this is going to be fixed in the near future. Unfortunate, because I would actually like to play this game more with newer people that I'm introducing it to you, but if I can't play it on the phone, I'll move onto something else.
