I submitted a report for voting here: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=88843

When you are in a game, every single key-press opens the chat window. This makes it impossible to use a push-to-talk key to play games with friends in video chat like Discord or Zoom. Plus generally having the chat window pop up unintentionally in the middle of a game when accidentally hitting a key. It would be a QoL fix if there was either:
a) an option to mute chat
b) a dedicated key to open the chat window
c) some specifically assigned keys that do not automatically open the chat window

No to chat muting, sometimes it's helpful to be able to let others know if there's a problem.

A user profile option to set whether any key opens chat is probably the best way to do this then those who find it useful and still want it (like me) can have it and those who don't can toggle it off.
