Hi everyone,

I've noticed that the first player doesn't get beehive points on their first turn. i.e., if you place a tile with a beehive against one of the border beehives on the very first turn, you end up spending the cost of the tile but not getting back any points... so if you placed a "4" tile next to a "3" hive on turn #1, you might expect to have 19 points afterwards (20 starting points - 4 (cost) + 3 (beehive points) = 19), but would in fact have 16. (I've seen this happen a few times... I can provide screenshots if that helps).

I'm a newbie to this game so I don't know if it's a rule that I missed or a bug. Let me know.

Would appreciate if you had screenshots. The replays of your last games show the first player correctly receiving honey after connecting beehives, but maybe there is a display bug during the game.

I don't think it's a bug. What you are seeing is correct because the first player starts the game with 16 honey. Based on the screenshots you posted, your honey at the end of your turn would be: 16 starting points - 7 (cost) + 4 (beehive points) = 13.

Ohhh! My mistake, I assumed incorrectly that everyone starts with 20. Thanks for clearing that up, appreciate it!
