Tiebreaker

Post by Ghostdog22 »

What is the tiebreaker if both players end up with the same score? I just finished a game and won it for no apparent reason. I did not have more cards in my castle, I'm assuming that's what is meant by having a bigger house.

I lose ties when I have more or less cards so I wonder how it works. The game completely does not inform about the rules of winning in the case of ties. Looks like pure radome. So I would be grateful if someone could explain it.

While the author of the game does not specify who is the winner in case both players have equal scores, BGA uses the following approach:
"more cards face down; less cards in a castle".
I noticed this message in a game when we had a draw. My only draw so far in more than 50 games :D

Acabo de perder un empate teniendo más cartas boca arriba en el castillo, me parece que si está randomizado el criterio de desempate.

There is no random on tiebreakers. As alexl_l said, it is explained in the rules page:
The first tiebreaker is most cards faced down.
The second one is less cards in castle.

I am the game developer, and the explanation of tiebreaks is one of the improvements planned to be released in the next update... Very soon, so stay tuned ;)
