What has been done to player panels and history???

Post by towehaal »

It appears these have been recoded as floating panels. My initial reaction is that they are terrible and I'd like a way to go back to the old way. I get the idea of having more table space on screen but this needs work. Playing a bunch of turn based games in a row I have to turn these off each game. Then do some weird scrolling to get to the red "continue to next game" button.

ALSO... these buttons currently block the arrow that advances you to the next table so you can't skip past a game that you may want to take some longer thinking time on.

Can you take a screenshot? On desktop these are still the same.

*edit* I confirmed they have not changed on mobile too.

Ah, I see you must be using the Chrome extension.

That is not a feature of the main BGA website. There is a thread for extension discussion here: https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=30509

In fact it's supposed to look like this :

I see you get a little bug with the position of the floating menu... I will fix it in a next version.
And you are right for the buttons that currently block the arrow that advances you to the next table, I missed this point :(
I will disable the feature until it is fixed and improved.

In fact I'm browsing a bit blind, I'm trying to implement the features I find interesting, but for the moment I've received almost no feedback, nor any remark... don't hesitate to tell me what you like in what has been done, what you don't like, what you'd like to see modified and added.
I do this on my free time, I gain nothing but the satisfaction of seeing my work appreciated ;)
