Repeat lines can go to different symbols?

I don't know if it's correct but the any-symbol cards when used with a repeat play on the same turn are allowing two different symbols on the board (in this case along the green route). In Next Station London this is prevented, the repeat must be of the same symbol.

It’s a different rule from London (they changed the symbol as well).
The new extension effect allows you, once you have chosen your station, to add a second station. But there are several restrictions.
Let’s say you start you turn with the blue line, on station A. You draw the extension card and a station symbol. You choose to add station B to the blue line. The extension power allows you to add station C as well, if station A, B and C are aligned. Meaning you keep the same direction when extending the line. It must follow the usual placement rules, but it can be a different symbol
