More players with different colours. I have played the original game with four players, on a paper grid.
Me too, I also played with more than 4 players on a blackboard, back in school.
Maybe more than 8 players could make the games drag for a long time... But I think 8 is a good maximum number of players>
Also, I think 2-5 are the best player counts for this game. (But 8 should be viable)
