Good scenarios for tournaments.

I am designing Memoir'44 tournaments and I have found out that some scenarios that I myself find enjoyable to play are considered unbalanced and too dependent of the luck factor. I don't like to use 'random' scenarios, so selecting a good scenario is crucial. Thanks to those who have already helped me to pick the scenarios better. :)

I would like to find the opinion of the more experienced players of those scenarios that you find feasible for tournament use. I would also like to have a short explanation of the pros and cons of those scenarios.

If you have time and interest, please tell also which scenarios are NOT too good for tournaments and why.

If there is available redily a review of playability of different scenarios, please point me to the right direction.

1. Wining by luck/skill: mere luck should not dictate the results.
2. Dull/insteresting: The game should be fun and interesting, not just repetetion of same rutines in every game.
3. Length: too short is easily too random, but too long is not good especially if there is many games of the same scenario. How ever the long scenarios are good if there is only a few games.
4. Personal likings: e.g. I like the Suomussalmi scenario, because it has Finnish ski troops.
5. Other pros and cons

A good resource is the Days of Wonder database of all scenarios and players' average rating of one, two, or three stars. See link below. You can search for a specific scenario you're considering or filter on three star scenarios to get some ideas. Personally, I'd say most two or three star scenarios are good to use for a tournament.

Those scenarios seem to be totally different from thow found in Boardgamearena ???

Edit:
Are some of them the same like "Red Barricades Factory 10/22/1942"?

Is "Red Barricades 10/22/1942" the same scenario, just under different name?
