Slow servers, Ark Nova

I don't know if this affects all games or just Ark Nova, but sometimes, the server needs 10 seconds for every click. It's not my internet connection.
Is this because many players are on BGA or many are playing Ark Nova?

The whole website has been a bit unusually slow this week
It shouldn't matter how many play ark nova at once

I've been having issues with lag on BGA from 1pm - 6pm EST most days over the last 3 weeks. Server 9 seems to be the most heavily affected.

I've been having heavy lag too, especially loading the play now page. It took forever to load the page. How do I check what server I'm on? Can I switch server?
