Swiss vs Round robin: which one 1 game at a time?

I'm interested in 1 game at a time, but multiple games total. Do not want all games staying at once. Thanks!

Swiss needs previous game result to match similar tournament's value players for next match and so on. (One game at the time)
Round Robin would make all players in the group to play each other. (Multiple games at the time can be played. Not sure if settings can be switched to one game at time in this format)
