Issue that slows down Wingspan

Hey all, I've just started playing here and noticed a frustrating issue with Wingspan. I did a quick search to see if this has been brought and my apologies if it has.
Why does the game require other players to take advantage of pink powers or everyone gets a <blank> in the middle of your turn. If they get something from the feeder, obviously that has to happen real time, but the vast majority of them there's no disadvantage at all if they just get the thing they're owed at the beginning of their next turn (or at the end of the round if that's the case).
Doing so the way this site does it drags games on.

For example if my opponent needs to take a food from the bird feeder during my turn, the game should look ahead and see if nothing else on my board will affect the bird feeder so yes in that instance I should be able to finish my turn, especially for turn based.

If you scroll down a bit in the forum index you'll find that there are specific sub-fora for each game. By coincidence your observation is very similar to someone else's which was posted in the Wingspan forum this week:

There are many programmers who have worked on BGA games but this is a common problem on games- having to ridiculoulsy wait for no real reason and bogging down play. In Viticulture, for example, you finish one round and instead of asking you which bonus you want for the next round, you have to wait while bonuses are asked of the other player, then come back and pick your bonus card, then wait for your turn. Everyone should say what bonus they want when they are there, interacting at the end of the round. You could still save the actual passing out of cards in the defined order when all have finished the round.
I will say I was an alpha review for Wingspan and the programmer was amazing at responding to requests to fine tune that game. If you reach out to the programmer, if they are still around, you might get a response

This is the top rated suggestion for Wingspan:
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=71923
I certainly agree that this would be a significant improvement for turn based play (my primary mode of interaction with BGA), and it is actually something I had planned and started implementing.
As noted in my
response in the Wingspan subforum, I do have this currently implemented in Studio, as well as many other popular suggested improvements and fixes of confirmed bugs. For life reasons, I unfortunately haven't had much time lately to do the level of intense testing and tuning that would be required to finish and deploy this sort of major update of one of the most popular games on BGA without breaking things, but some time is opening up in my schedule to wrap this up.

In this case, actually, they do have to take it immediately unless the pink power specifically says "at the end of their turn". Which is true for at least one EE bird but I'm not aware of any in the base set.
Why? Because the player whose turn it is may have another bird that draws from the feeder to the left of the one that triggered your pink power and that could mess things up
