disable booting someone with less then 1 minute over time

So many bad players like to boot someone with under 1 minute in red time near end games so they can win. This should not be allowed as many games are much more time consuming when nearing the end.

Yep, I had a realtime game of Fluxx with 4 people, that somehow went over 40 min long. I was 10s over time, and one player started trying to boot me .. and I was playing ... so rude ..

Very unsportsmanlike ..

I have had similar happen twice in the past week. The funny thing is it was last turn when they knew they lost but there was no warning before like you have 20 seconds or you will be booted...just poof.

Why not just make the initial thinking time/max thinking time 1 minute longer?
I mean, what's the point of rules if you don't think they should be enforced? Yeah, yeah, major chain store, I know you have a price tag of 50 monetary units on this item, but I only want to pay 40. What do you mean I can't have it? Yeah, I know the game rules say if I don't have enough food to feed all of my people, I lose 10 points, but I'm only 1 food shy. Why should I lose the points? Yeah, yeah, the player was offside, but only by a step. Why is the goal being disallowed?
Time management is an integral part of this site. I agree that it is not sporting to expel a player who has been playing the instant they run out of time, but it is within the rules. Give that person a private red thub so you won't ever play with them again.
Then, there are questions of what is meant by "1 minute." Can someone go negative 59 seconds, then make a move, go negative 59 seconds, make a move, etc., etc.? Or do they have 60 total seconds, and if they go negative 30 seconds they can be expelled after another 30 seconds over time? What happens after they go over time 30 seconds, then 29 seconds? Can they be expelled after 1 more second of over time?

It would be nice, if things worked as they said:
I'm out of time .. (fine, understood): another player chooses to "skip my turn".
I get notification that "I have 30 seconds to make a move!".
5 seconds later, I'm kicked out of game.
If I'm supposed to have 30s ... then give me 30s ... because the 1 game I got booted, I did NOT receive the time the warning gave me ... O.o
