Je suis sur BGA depuis longtemps mais une chose m'embête, l'inutilité des pouces rouges.
En effet, je ne peux plus aller sur la table de X ni jouer avec lui, mais il a accès à tout mon historique, mes amis, mon mur, ce que je fais....

ne serait-il pas possible de restreindre totalement l'accès d'un joueur pouce rouge à un autre joueur?
Je sais que ça peut paraitre fou mais le stalking existe sur bga, le harcèlement aussi, et pouvoir bloquer quelqu'un complètement ne serait pas du luxe.

I've been on BGA for a long time but one thing bothers me, the uselessness of red thumbs.
Indeed, I can no longer go to X's table or play with him, but he has access to all my history, my friends, my wall, what I do...

wouldn't it be possible to completely restrict a red thumb player's access to another player?
I know it may sound crazy but stalking exists on bga, harassment too, and being able to block someone completely would not be a luxury.

Hi, I totally agree with you about the privacy concern, and I voted like the thousand of people for the report about it.

But imo this is not related to the red thumb system.

It's by far the most upvoted request, i wouldn't say nobody cares.

trust me, If there's one thing BGA doesn't care about, it's harassment! however, it is a social network. people talk to each other, flirt with each other, there are nice encounters... but... there are also nasty, curious people, I've been harassed, I've given names, never any response. on the other hand, say naughty girl to another player and it's 3 days of ban!


don't make me believe that it's impossible to completely block access from one player to another by the red thumb.

They implemented the "block message" function from someone redthumbed, so i wouldn't say they ignored my request.
I believe that whole privacy thing is a much more complex functionnality which was simply not thought from start, and thus prove extra difficult to implement. That said some communication about the roadmap wouldn't hurt as i agree it's a rather important point and very few developpement are visible yet.

I agree with the idea that when you have given a player a red thumb, they should not be able to access your account in any way and not visit your tables (even if they can't actually see the game).

I also think the red thumb you gave them should not be made noticeable to them. It only attracts there attention if they can't join a table due to a red thumb and they don't which player gave it to them. Therefore, red thumbing the player I am referring to below will only attract their curiosity and interest in my account.

I have a problem with a player who used to be a friend, until we had a disagreement, but now this person just stalks me across BGA. I have tried to create new accounts and stay away from this person but they just track me down buy searching my account for information and doing certain checks to ascertain it is me. Then they come taunting me and messaging me saying that they know it is me and that they will tell others.

This has been happening between 1-3 years. I have tried staying away from BGA for periods of time, but they just find me again. II is very creepy and stressful and I frequently think of quitting BGA completely.

I have thought about reporting it, however, I never felt I could prove it or people would not take it seriously.
