Tell me how Petra works.
It says at the end of each turn: If you have 5 coins or more, score 1 point.
Example: At the end of the turn, I have 6 coins and want to use education and pay 4 coins for culture.
Option 1 - Get 1 point for Petra and then play education.
Option 2 - I play education and do not get a point for Petra, since I have 2 coins left.

I don't know for Petra specifically but generally speaking, when you have multiple end-of-turn effects, you can choose the order.

If I remember correctly, you can even gain and use a new end-of-turn effect during the end-of-turn (like get Education with Babylon and then immediately use Education)

I should check it out here on bga. There are enough errors in the game, I wonder how Petra works here.
