Board Game Arena

This is my first game and I can't figure out how to use the x-tokens. In this turn, I'm using the upgraded Sponsor card that is currently in slot 5. That should allow me to play "1 or more sponsor cards with a total maximum of X+1". That gets me up to a total of 6, but I want to add two X-tokens to bring that to 8 and play two sponsors that add to that amount. Is that not allowed?

After you select the sponsor card (or any card), it should give you as many options as you have x tokens +1.

For instance, if you have 2 x tokens, you should see 3 options if you play sponsor at level 5:
Play sponsor at level 5, play at level 5+1, play at level 5+2.
The wording is slightly different, and I think it mention x tokens on the buttons, but if you have x tokens, the options should appear after selecting the card.

I just played my first game as a solo and never got any offers to use the X-tokens. Is that because it was solo?

No, you can use X tokens the same way in a solo game. I just started a solo game today to check, and I was able to use an x token the turn after I got it without any problem.

I just played solo and it wont let me use the x token? i have 5 x tokens but when i pick a card nothing,

You need to click BEFORE selecting the action card

click where, i tried clicking the x but still nothing, in solo and in game, never gan use the x tokens

There are two different settings options for using X tokens. Go to the triple gear symbol > Game Flow Tab > the Action card choosing process. Then you can select between deciding if you want to choose to use X tokens first (you get a plus minus X button to the right of the action cards) or if you want to select the action first then have the option to use X tokens.

I swear this setting changes randomly for me depending on browser/system I am using. But hopeful messing with that option helps you find how to spend X tokens.

Can u guarantee the other Sponsor card was eligible for playing with all prerequisites? Or any other sponsor from the river ?
If it was upgraded then indeed at level L with n extra Xs you can have L+1+nX to spend among multiple sponsor cards.
