Board Game Arena

I don't want to play on Map A or Map 0
Here are my settings
I never want to play with first game
I never want to play with beginner
I prefer to play with normal
I prefer to play with custom setup
I prefer to play with custom setup without maps a and 0
I prefer to play with maps 2-4

Yet I get Map 0. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for any help

I assume you figured this out since I just checked your latest replay, and you chose map 2?

Hi thanks for checking. Yes I can get the correct map the first play, but then if I want to play again, even though I have the settings it still puts me on map 0. I don't see how to stop this because when I choose play, it goes immediately into the game with map 0 even though I have it set up as shown. Any help much appreciated. I love this game but hate map 0!

"Competition Level" is the selection that changes your map options. Choosing "first game" and "beginner" give you maps A and 0 (I forget which is which since I haven't played either in a long time), so it is likely defaulting back to over of those for some reason.

You'll just need to go in and reselect "normal" or "custom" or whatever you normally play with.

Does that help? Or is something else going on?
