I have purchased the 2X card a couple of times, and then have a cube in it, but I can't seem to be able to activate it. There's no prompt, and no way to use the cube. What am I doing wrong? How specifically is it activated??

You select the cube on the card before you select which reward to activate. The message at the top changes to "select cube or activate...".

Nope . Doesnt work at all. Its broken. No way to select it, and no change at the top of the screen.

Sounds like this could be https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=69159. Please upvote that bug and add details for your game when this happened, including the move number when you were unable to select something to double. Especially helpful would be a screenshot when you see it happen - it may be too late to capture that for your latest issue, but if you see it again.

I made a hotseat game and seem to have reproduced it.

It looks to me like you are trying to activate it on your turn. Once it has been flipped you activate it on your opponants turn.

Yes you are right. I will run it again. But it doesnt work on any turn.

same issue. activated it by selecting cube, no other cards were selectable despite some seeming to be appropriate.
