- Pit Team is too susceptible to depletion, especially in 4- or 5-player games
With a cost of $1, Pit Team can be depleted before a player has a chance to buy any. This can leave a player, through no fault of their own, with no ability to remove wear other than by taking a pit stop.
- Overdrive in 2P games gives the 2nd player an unassailable advantage
(Overdrive is the one that says "According to your current position in the race, move up to 3 spaces on the following color or lower: First = white, Last = dark gray Other = light gray"
This appears broken because if the 2nd player sculpts their bag to contain their share of Overdrive and nothing else other than what's needed to keep wear to a minimum, that player will always be able to advance further than the 1st player did by staying behind the 1st player on previous turns. Therefore, the 2nd player just needs to stay behind the 1st player until they can cross the finish line to win the race.
(This assumes the 1st player keeps moving. If the 1st player declines to move, the game stagnates, which is another kind of broken.)
I don't know if Overdrive is also broken in games with 3 or more players.
