why change em

This seems a very constructive topic.

Why don't you like the new ones and prefer the old ones?

My comments would be:

1. They are blurry now and hard to read compared to before.

2. They use an unnecessary shape which is distracting.

3. They use an image which is wider than 4096px -- this can cause problems on some mobile browsers. This might not be a concern since the image has a small height, however.


*edit* I made a comparison. Note that you cannot detect the stars or stripes anymore, which could be an issue for some players -- the U.S. flag is even known as "the stars and stripes", and flags are symbols of national identity.

Another change that the community doesn't need. Why doesn't BGA take care of really important changes?

Now the flag overlaps user status in the panel when the status icon is a mobile phone.

Hey, Mister BGA Designer, could we please also have a change of the Mars & Venus Colors (Genders)?

I think Blue and Pink should be changed to Red for Mars and Bright Yellow/Light Orange for Venus; or... Red for Mars and Venus still Pink.

Logic:
- back in time, blue was associated with feminine attributes, and red, with the more masculine ones; so I think blue=masculine and pink=feminine are 2 ephemeral stereotypes (https://www.artsy.net/article/artsy-edi ... rt-history);
- from an astrological/astronomical point of view, Mars being Red and Venus, Bright Yellow, makes perfect sense.

I understand that there are way more important stuff in the world, as we speak (and I agree with that), but I think this change would be somehow nice.
