Bad Arena ranking win/loss algorithm

The way the site uses global personal game ranking for the Arena calculations is just so frustrating. If someone with a 300 or higher personal ranking loses to someone with a 100, they lose 30 odd arena points in Elite level. Has absolutely nothing to do with their Arena ranking. So the way to consistantly get the top ranks are to swap out to Normal play and deliberately lose games to get their ranking to 100, then go play Arena games. Such a terrible way to decide the top ranks.

I'm not sure what you're referring to.
ELO and Arena points are completely separate and calculated independent of one another. They both get calculated in an arena game, but neither is used in the formula for calculating the other.
