I don't see the point of this limit. It's frustrating when playing games that are meant to be played at higher player counts to be told that you hit your limit. Plus there are so many games in Alpha, I don't see why the limit should be imposed when I try to play 2 different Alpha games at once or try to play the same Alpha game again after the first game has ended, etc.

Alpha testing is intended to be limited to reviewers. Here are the guidelines for becoming a review:

In order to make it easier for reviewers to test, they are permitted to invite a limited number of friends into alpha to join them. This is not intended to be a back door to put non-reviewers into alpha testing. If you anticipate inviting lots of friend to participate in alpha, it would be best to send them that link and help them become reviewers themselves.
