Why does joining one turn-based game closes the other turn-based games I created?

I created a turn-based 6-player Llama game for my friends, 4 friends already joined and I was waiting on the 5th. I then saw another turn-based Llama game that just needed 1 more player. I joined that table, thinking that my own table will still be open, but as soon as I joined, the table that I created that already had 5 friends signed up, closed on me with no warning. Why? Why can't my original table be open, especially since it's turn based? Can BGA make a change so this doesn't happen again?

I think you should open a bug in the bug forum, including the table numbers of the two tables (the one that closed, and the one you newly joined).

There is a limit of the number of turn-based games you are allowed at a time, see also https://boardgamearena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31658

Maybe you just hit your personal limit at that time. But surely I think you should get a warning before your waiting game was closed.

I'm pretty sure that when you're at the limit, it just won't let you start a new one.
