Tiny Epic Defenders - closing tags difference

In Tiny Epic Defenders (Second Edition) translation system there are English phrases that incorporates <i> tags, and sometimes they end normally by </i>, but there are few phrases with </>. Is that a bug in Eng version or is it intentional and good?
