What other player boards would you like to see on BGA?

Post by aaronkw »

For those that have more or less figured out the existing boards and how to play them, what other boards (that exist in the cardboard world) would you like to see added to BGA at some point (if any)? Personally I would love to play Triangle from the Monastery boards which has a few big areas where a few strategies could work. I think adding some of the expansion boards or new boards could freshen up the game for those that have played awhile.

I completely agree with your idea about new boards.

for example, this is interesting and complex, from monasteries

I really wish they add 1-st expansiaon and 4th Expansion – Monastery Boards
Is it hard to add few boards when all algoritm is working and the same? expecially 1-st expansion, there is no added rules

1-st exp have some great boards, really interesting to play after base game boards

I'd love to see all of the expansion boards available. I'm hooked on this game, but it does get a bit repetitive playing the same 10 boards over and over. Plus, a couple of the first expansion boards are among the most interesting in terms of different strategies. This is one of the 10 most played games on the site, so hopefully that interest is enough to get the expansions eventually. I'll play test!

I find the base game boards the by far best balanced boards.

I would welcome all these boards below, as I find them well balanced or at least balanced enough. I enjoy playing all these boards.
From best to worst:

I unfortunately found most of the monastery boards to be very badly designed and therefore extremely imbalanced, even though I really liked the added 7th bonus color of monasteries.
If you play on identical boards on most of the monastery boards one player will often win right away with luckier opening rolls.
