Can someone tell me, if I report someone for threating me and calling me names - how can I find out if the moderators do anything about it?

I don't think there is anything you can do to see what happens of your report, but you could still see on the player's profile if something appear in the reputation tab.

If you go to the offender's page, you can see the results of the moderation including comments from the moderator. It is on the player's reputation page.

There is an area on that person's profile only you can see and it tells you the outcome of your complaint. Took over a week but the person was moderated
