Board Game Arena

I see there is a small icon for potential opponents playing from a phone. I play from a desktop with a large monitor because the board playing area becomes quite large and it is a lot slower to navigate on a phone.

When I get assigned an opponent using a phone, it is too slow of action for me to enjoy playing.

Though we can decline to join before the game starts, is there a setting to deselect playing against folks on phones?

No option for that.

And I can't see that ever being a thing since
1 - there are already different speeds for games, so device should be irrelevant
2 - you can switch devices mid game (I do this fairly often, bounce between my desktop and my phone).

3 - I doubt device detection is accurate. I have seen people who appeared as "offline" (greyed-out device icon) make moves in real-time games and stay offline, so I wouldn't trust anything this icon says too much.
