Board Game Arena

Hello, it's a while that I play Catan and I reached as max a solid top 5 in ELO in the game. Checking out the rankings, I always see that many of the top players in ELO reach that score playing always with the same people. I tried to make it noticed, but I feel that many people that do that are still there. Another thing that I noticed is that it's basically impossible to reach 500 in ELO and the rank of Master, although many other games have plenty. One final thing is that new players seem to be able to get to higher ELOs just playing 10 to 20 games.
I wanted to discuss this and see if I find some feedbacks about these situations, thanks for the attention!

The K factor when I started climbing up the leaderboard was really high and helped me climbed up

As for colluders, just report to BGA. They have been helpful with dealing with that issue

The Elo ranking is difficult to find. If you go to "Games" and choose a game, say, Settlers, then there is an Arena ranking on the bottom left. If you change "Current season" to "Alltime" then you see the current Elo ranking.

Since I have never played them I cannot give them a public red thumb - but I am quite sure that the moderators will learn about that soon and the two players will be removed again - hopefully permanently. It just takes some time and reporting them is not easy...

Aha! Thanks a lot. Good warning coz I think *, I can see the trail and that's kinda funky. Can't believe they had the audacity to do it again after being moderated already.
