What happens if I play something over my restaurant? Does the restaurant 'adjacent tiles' bonus still stay? Or is everything lost because the restaurant itself was covered?

Also, would I get a potential 6th point of income per round by covering the patch of water to the north of the restaurant tile?

You would lose the park restaurant bonus.

Also you would gain a sixth income from it if you used diversity researcher to cover the northern hex surrounding the restaurant.

On a similar note, you would also lose the +2 appeal bonus if you cover the observation tower.
