It' s so hard to catch a starting ark nova game with that insane launching interface, that i miss one game ... did not seen it started, then being stopped without me after 4 mns and zero shot .. .Paf! minus 20 reputation points. Scandal!
then again, as at my arrival some weeks ago when i was newbie mastering nothing, and lost very fast reputation.
That reputation ranking is a joke, too long time to grow, too huge fall in one time, for not fair reasons.
Frustrating and humiliating, especially under 50, avoiding communication with players..
No way I would pay for that good site by the way with all that games, if nothing change seriously on that matter, and that spirit where humiliate players seemed to be a way of management.
I will, if it evoluate significantly in the good way.
Hervé, motivated but not happy grumbling french player on BGA and playing often in real life, clubs or with friends... and many friends in Bga too, in few time. Then not so bad actually.

Greetings, sorry for your frustration. A few notes:

1. You can still use the Play Now interface by clicking "PLAY NOW" in the top of the screen. I always use it to start games.

3. 20 reputation is regained very quickly. You should be back to 100 just by playing a few short games. Even though it seems frustrating, this will pass.

You lost 20 points because in the last two weeks, you've been booted from 4 games. As GTSchemer said, choose a quick game and play a few games of that without quitting and you'll be back over 50% pretty quickly. Then you'll need to gradually build your reputation from there.

That said, you have a lot of time penalties too (which don't affect your karma, although they might if your opponents decide they don't appreciate your slow play). Every game you finish without being booted or going over time adds a point back. Maybe play some slower or turn-based games where you know you'll be able to finish.

Looks like you are consistently running out of time in your games. If I join a "2 minutes per turn" game then I expect to be playing with people who can take their turn within 2 minutes. Having a player who regularly takes 3 or 4 minutes at the table is, to be frank, rude and inconsiderate of everyone else's time.

Be honest with yourself about how quickly you can actually take your turns and join appropriate tables for that. Once you do you'll see your Karma increase quickly.

i 'm honest with myself , i persist and sign, this system is bad and especially not adapted to long games
and your "advice" to selct the right time parameter of game is not pertinent , considering the launch systm where you are obliged to catch a game very qyickly and no time to check the parameters or it pass.
and let the possibility toopponent to expell after one or two hours of a long game as ark nova, at the first overtime, overtime which is inevitable when you have combination of multiples combo cards, which is a parameters that system dont considere.

You can use the automatic choice of opponents rather than manual selection to join a table - use the cog next to the Ark Nova game in your list set your parameters to the speeds you want to play and let BGA do the matching for you. This assumes you're playing from the old style lobby, accessible from the Play Now link in the top bar - though I think the New (game page) lobby is all auto, just that settings work a bit differently there (I think you can only be strict or flexible about your preferred timing, rather than nominating your preference for each speed).
