Loops in the video and my physical copy limit the new jump off to the points in the loop, on here you can jump off from any point on the expedition which is quite a change please check your rules to see if this was miss coded or an actual change in later versions of the game

Unfortunately, there are various versions of the rules, some of which have considerable differences. On BGA the version of Super Meeple is installed. The rule there states: "If you place an arrow that forms a loop in an expedition, immediately place a new arrow for this expedition from any spot this expedition has visited, which then becomes the new base for the rest of the expedition, following the usual rules to progress the expedition."
