i have read the rules, and the appendix, it says you get a cave card in front of you, it says you score points for cards under your cave card, it does not say anywhere HOW cards go under the cave card,

am i missing something? is there card specific text that tells you to put in under the cave?

i will be giving the game a go soon, but i like to know the rules first and this missing bit has me concerned

There are cards that let you interact with the cave. Usually in very simple ways

There will be a card with a bear on it that says "Put all the cards from the clearing in your cave." I think the Racoon has one too...? Some other animal gives you some action with your cave. Let me see if I can get a screen shot.

Only Bear and Raccoon can place cards in the Cave.

Raccoon is useful to ditch cards in your hand that you don't want to play nor give to your opponent.
Bear gives an Extra Turn bonus and sweeps up the clearing into your Cave for a few extra points.

Can you bring cards back out of the cave again?
