status for Champions of Midgard ?

Is there anything going on behind the scene for this one ?
The original dev (hul007) is no longer active. tchobello did some maintenance up to around October 2022 but there are no news since then.
It's a Grey Fox Games which I think has no game released on BGA at all.
Is it stuck in Alpha because of some licensing issue or is it stuck because there is no one actively working on it ?

If there is a way to pick up this effort, I'd be interested (retired dev, favorite game etc. pp.)

Champions of Midgard is in Alpha for years.
I've fixed some bugs but there are still some in the Alpha version.
Most of them are display bugs (F5 helps).
I don't know if the license is still granted.
I've been been working on an updated version in the Studio with a lot of rewriting.
There are still some work to be done (runes...) and I have no time any more to work on side projects like this one.
and to be honest, It's gonna be hard for someone to work on it without any knowledge of BGA development.

I'll be honest:
What prompted me to push and fulfil the requirements to become an alfa tester was the fact that I learned this game was being developped, so of course I would love to see this game being released in here. I love Champions of Midgard and really wanted to see this through. As soon as I got the alfa tester access, I created a table to play this with a friend and we noticed a few bugs, and when I reported the bugs, I noticed the last developer interaction with it was more than 1 year prior to that time. Unfortunately, I don't see this moving forward... :/
but I would love to be wrong. I'll keep waiting.
