Entertainers mid-game bug?

Hi,
I just experienced a situation where I had two cubes on the same track (AI singularity). I received Entertainers at M12 and decided to move forward on the track where both of my cubes were. My intention was to progress with the furthest token on that track. However, unfortunately the lowest token automatically advanced and I didn't got a chance to revert it. Is the the way it's supposed to work? I haven't experienced this before with Leaders and Alchemists so that's why I'm confused. Hope someone can help me out here.

I will report it as well. Hopefully they will pick it up soon. It didn’t cost me the game but I can imagine that it impacts game end results.
