Starting spots

So friends and I are doing a 10 race series for fun, and the starting position is reverse finish order from previous race.
We chose manual setup, but a slight problem has come up in setup when people select the wrong spot and it cannot be undone.
Is there a way to either set it up so the host picks all starting spots, or that all the starting spots are numbered?
Just a thought. We work around it by abandoning one race and starting a new one, which is a pain since we are doing it async.
