The improvement card says you need 5 clays + 2 reeds to turn your wooden house in clay house.

If I have 2 wooden houses, and only 5 clays+ 2 reeds does it mean :

• that I can change 1 house and wait later to change the other one

• or that I must wait until I have 10 clays + 4 reeds to improve the 2 houses at the same time ?

You can only add a new room to your house of the type you already are in.

If you have 2 wooden rooms then you can only add one or more wooden rooms, each costing 5 wood and 2 reed.

If you want to build a clay room you must first renovate your wooden house to a clay house. This costs 1 clay per room and a total of 1 reed. You cannot partially renovate your house so it is all rooms or nothing.

Example:
- If you have 2 wooden rooms the cost of the renovation is 2 clay+1 reed for the whole house.
- If you have 3 wooden rooms the cost of the renovation is 3 clay+1 reed for the whole house.


After you have renovated your house to clay, then you can add more clay rooms, each costing 5 clay and 2 reed.

I have 3 wooden houses. I update them in clay. Then I have 3 clay houses.

May I add a 4th clay house afterwards ?

Yes, you can always add room to your house if the room is of the same building material.

Example:
1st- Build a wooden room to your wooden house. You now have a 3 room wood house
2nd- renovate your 3 room house to clay
3rd- add a clay room to your clay house. You now have a 4 room clay house
