Board Game Arena

Played a 2 player game with a friend. They had 2 vineyards in Cotes de Bar… I had 1 vineyard and the vineyard ownership chip. The score registered as 4 points to my friend and 0 to me. But, I thought, it should have been a tie.. So 2 points each?

Am I misunderstanding something? Does the vineyard ownership tile only work when it’s not tied? Or only for diversification?

Didn’t want to report it as a bug without checking my rule understanding first.

What is write in the rulebook :

■MajorVineyard: for each region, the player with the most Vineyardcards gains 4PrestigePoints. In the event of a tie, count the number of grapes produced by the region of the players concerned. The player who produces the most wins.

In the event of a new tie, distribute the 4points equally.


In your case your friend own more cubes in his vineyards. So... it is not a bug.

Ahhhhh. Well that explains it! Guess next time I’ll focus that chip on diversity!
