Any Discord/Slack server related to boardgames ?

I know that therey isn't an official Discord Server for BGA specially because that would be an overhead for all the great work the team is already doing with the plataform.

But is there an unoffical one? Like a place just to go and talk about boardgames (not only about BGA) that someone can recommend me?
I'd like to talk to more people about this hobby. Specially to get a few recommendations on other games to play here, i think i got to the point where i only play the same games over and over and there is some many games here that are really good but i never tried.

I'm pretty sure they have a Reddit, but it doesn't seem very active.

On the topic of finding more games, do you check other player's profiles? I frequently check their profiles and will run into potential games to try out. Players you've played before, especially if it's someone you've run into on different games, can be good profiles to check.
