How could I go about requesting a different picture for this game? I've been playing canasta with my family since we were kids but my cousin usually says no when I suggest it. He gave in yesterday and finally admitted that the picture of the the foot makes him uncomfortable. It kinda grosses me out also because it shows where a Below The Knee amputation would happen. My mother lost her foot 25 years ago and this cousin also lost his foot 8 years ago. The image is exactly how much was amputated in both cases.

I'm guessing a bug/suggestion would be the way to go.... If you let people know once you have made it you may get some upvotes. Good Luck!

I'm also not a big fan of the image used to represent this game... not because it makes me uncomfortable, but it just looks kind of basic and not that interesting. Here are a couple of images I got out of DALL-E 3, how about something like these instead?

I definitely support this suggestion. I've always found the thumbnail a little unsettling, and it doesn't have the same quality as other bga games (it just looks like two random images pasted together).

Two-sheds, thanks for sharing your AI generated thumbnail suggestions. I personally think the first image in your second post (shoe & glove) looks rather nice, though it doesn't have the same "face card" art style as the other card-deck games on BGA. It's also missing text that says "Hand & Foot", but if you could figure out how to change the image style I'd be happy to add that in for you (in the "face card" style, of course!).

Just coming to say we agree. Even just emojis would be better. The disembodied realistic-ish limbs are weird.

Actually if you want to change the illustration how about changing the name? Hand and Foot is the name of a disease in the USA affecting the hands and feet? It all is relavent to the subject. In its defense .... there will always be someone that is offended by anything. Good Luck!

There is a small irony that a player named "Two Sheds" would object to the foot image, considering how I sourced it. I actually wanted to used that image because, well, Monty Python.
